Urban Decay is finally here!

I think when Sephora came to Australia, everyone was super hyped and excited because we really don’t get to indulge in products from the U.S and especially when you hear all the craze about a certain product, I think we all know how it feels to be disappointed that we can’t get it here in Australia.

My current eye shadow palette is this amazing 40 shade palette from Inglot, it’s got all the colours I’ve ever needed to do my makeup with and it’s been with me for 3 years now, but when my eyes made contact with that Naked Palette 3, I think I lost it a little.

I absolutely adore the rose colours in this palette, and I’m trying to experiment a little with my eye makeup. I wear A LOT of browns, greys, khaki and black colours on my eyes, but I’m seriously loving a soft eye with pretty winged liner. It’s just the perfect, soft and sultry look I’m trying to go for at the moment, which is weird because I don’t do sultry… EVER!

First of all, the blending brush with this palette is the best I’ve used yet and I’ve used a lot of brushes in my time (not that I’m really old or anything), I think I may just need to purchase all of the Urban Decay brushes. I’m so sorry bank account!

I’ve never really owned a palette just for myself it’s always been, this would be really good for my kit,  so I think this is a great palette for individual use where you can pop in your bag to touch up or take it away with you when your on holiday. It has that nice big horizontal mirror so you can just see how amazing your eyes look with those awesome shadows. I’m still not too sure how I feel about the eye shadows in a little tiny rectangle but I’m sure I’ll get used to it and hopefully I can keep it clean enough that the shadows won’t end up on the other colours.

12 shades: Strange, Dust, Burnout, Limit, Buzz, Trick, Nooner, Liar, Factry, Mughshot, Darkside, Blackheart

When I purchased my palette for $78 AUD, it was really nice to receive samples of their eye shadow primer potion, one original, one eden, one sin and one anti-ageing, each with a weeks worth of product. I never use eye primers, because I have a little hack up my sleeve that allows my eye makeup to stay on all day, however, it will be interesting to try this out and compare my eyes to see if it really works in comparison to my hack.

Regardless let me know if you own a Naked palette, which one do you have and why do you love it so much, let me know and until next time..

Byee! From MY Urban Decay Naked 3 palette and I. xx.
