Origins Checks and Balances Cleanser

I was so surprised walking through the beauty section at Myer the other week  to find Origins being stocked at Kit Cosmetics. Now maybe it’s always been there and I clearly never saw it but I jumped for joy that I even got the other few customers at the shelves excited about the Origins products that they were asking about it and wanting to test it and so did I and well who wouldn’t be when all you hear is raving reviews about  the Origins line and in my case the Checks and Balances Cleanser.

Three months is up and it is now time for a new cleanser, I have currently been using all the Lush cleansers available but this time I was looking for a cleanser to fix my situation a.k.a little pimples on my forehead and the odd spots here and there.

You would be surprised about how many people break out from certain makeup products or beauty products that they’ve never used before and from that instant, they are turned off straight away. Most of the time, breakouts can be caused by not removing makeup off properly even if you think you have or certain cleansers that are left on the face after cleansing. A simple solution to use after cleansers is to use a great toner that suits your skin type and ensures any left over cleanser or makeup is off.

Origins Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash

Origins Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash

Checks and Balances is currently one of my favourites and I have only been using it for 6 days. Straight away after I washed my face, it cleanses like crazy, it leaves your skin feeling squeaky clean and there is no better way to explain it but, squeaky, squeaky clean.

  • No residue left behind
  • No tight and drying feeling
  • Seriously, amazing

I even tested this with a full face of makeup on and it just dissolved all my foundation, concealer, blush, bronzer, all of it, completely dissolved and off my skin, revealing a fresh face and I just had to stop myself from touching my face because it was that clean.

For the price I paid which was $29 AUD for 150mL, it is the definition of worth it. I only use the tiniest amount, so the size of a pea and I was able to froth it up and spread it over my entire face and neck area. This gentle face wash is designed for combination oily skin, meaning oily in the T-zone (forehead, nose and chin area) and dry on the cheeks. I love it because it cleanses off all the oil but at the same time it doesn’t make my dryer areas tight or flaky at all. I would even say this could be used on oily skins completely.

Every morning I wake up, my skin feels so refreshed and soft and I am so excited to use this because I feel like it’s going to give me results. My skin already feels so great so the longer I use it, I can only imagine what other benefits it’s going to give my skin!

Let me know if you have tried any Origins products at all or if you love this particular cleanser as much as I do. I also love their toner and moisturiser form their Zero Oil line.

xx.
